Many merchants in Bangladesh now accept credit cards. Almost all banks in Bangladesh issue either Visa cards or MasterCard. However, international credit card processing is not a easy job in Bangladesh. Whether you go to a Bank or to other credit card processing companies a lot of documents are required to get a credit card. Student credit cards is still a dream here. We were searching for a prepaid credit card or Visa gift card or MasterCard gift card which is very popular in most of the developed countries. Only recently Shahjalal Islami Bank started such a project. But you can't use their credit cards for online transactions! University Co-op Credit Cards
Most of the University Co-operative shops provide Student Credit Cards. Just ask your University Cooperative shop about Student Credit Cards. The only document you need to apply for a Student Credit Card is your Student ID card.

Prepaid Credit Card / Prepaid Check Card / Visa Check Card / Visa Gift Card
This is a very good option if you need all the facilities of a credit card provided that you pay the money upfront to get the desired credit limit. You can shop around the internet and supermarkets with your Prepaid Credit Card, Prepaid Check Card, Visa Check Card, Visa Gift Card as long as you have credit in your card. You will find these types of credit cards in most developed countries of the world. Even in Malaysia you can find this type of cards. We are waiting when Bangladesh would also join them!!
